The Duncan Jones science fiction thriller Moon was the big winner of the BIFA’s last night by winning the Best Independent Film Award and with Jones winning the Best Debut Director.  I can’t really complain with the winners to be honest with you, they seem pretty spot on to me, Tom Hardy was brilliant in Bronson, Mugabe and the White African was one of the most moving documentary’s I’ve ever seen, In The Loop was hilarious and I thoroughly enjoyed Fishtank. I expect to see some WTF moments at the Oscars and Golden Globes though. The full list of winnersare below.
