Scarlett Johannson Iron Man 2 Poster – Mother Of God!

scarlett johansson iron man 2 Scarlett Johannson Iron Man 2 Poster Mother Of God!

God bless her perfect proportions. That being said the Iron Man 2 posters have been pretty poor, the trailers = great, the posters =crap. As a man this poster completely vindictates the sh*tty floating head posters that they’ve been releasing. The newest one that I’ve seen online look’s worse than the one I posted a few days ago.

Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark, the wealthy playboy whose exploits as Iron Man are now public knowledge after his admission at the close of the first film. In the follow-up, Stark is pitted against his Russian arch nemesis, Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), and corporate rival Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell). Also making their Marvel debuts are Scarlett Johansson as the sexy Russian spy Black Widow, and Don Cheadle, who takes over the role of Colonel James Rhodes from Terrence Howard

New Red Band Trailer For [REC]2

rec2 New Red Band Trailer For [REC]2

Below is the new trailer for [rec]2, the sequel to one of my favourite Horror films of recent memory. The second installment is coming to UK cinemas 28th May, I’ve seen it myself and I think it’s a perfect follow up for the original film, it continues the story straight after creatively and pretty originally, it wasn’t what I expected. It doesn’t quite live up to the original but it’s still a great film in it’s own right.

The action continues from [Rec], with the medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.

I have no idea how this came about but it cracked me up, James Franco is one of my favourite young actors, this video just adds to that. In more serious news James Franco has been accepted to Yale for a English Ph.D program, congrats! You can look out for him in Danny Boyle’s upcoming film 127 Hours at the end of the year.

Sam worthington with the Mrs, and Alexa Davalos

I along with thousands of fans, a heap of press and the cast and crew behind Clash Of The Titans braved the rain for it’s World Premier in Leicester Square – which had been brilliantly transformed into Ancient Greece, with Damaged columns, Medusa stricken stone soldiers, fireballs, Greek guards and lots and lots of rain (I don’t think ancient Greece is known for it’s rain, but hey it’s London).

I caught up with a couple members of the cast including Alexa Davalous, who said it was great being around Greek God’s all day while filming “I have no complaints whatsoever, it was great fun being surrounded by men in miniskirts.” The lead star of the film Sam Worthington stopped to chat as well about the morale of the story “I’ve got a nine-year-old nephew and in the original he enjoyed all the gods’ tools and I thought that’s not a good message to say to any kid, that you can only succeed if you’re a god. But if you say the message is that if you look deep inside yourself, and find the strength of a man or whoever you are, you can get anything done and it’s much more powerful than any god, then that’s the message I want to give.” Some bright spark also asked him if he’s like a God (wtf) to which he replied “There’s absolutely nothing godlike about me,”I’m not that arrogant.” Nicholas Hoult, joked on the red carpet: “It was very difficult being a serious actor going to work and wearing a skirt and having to fight giant scorpions. it was brilliant!”We all got a bit of Clash Rash from running around and skidding, and we all had competitions of who had the best Clash Rash.”

Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Nicholas Hoult, Alexa Davalos, Jason Flemyng, Mads Mikkelsen, Tamar Hussan, Luke Treadaway and director Louis Leterrier were all in attendance along with Andy Serkis, Lemar, Guy Ritchie, the dance coach with ridiculous eye brows from the X Factor and Brenden Cole.

Things I learnt from the red carpet

*Sam Worthington is pretty funny.

*Alexa Davalos is GORGOUS.

*Madds Mikkelson looks like he eats nails and sh*ts bricks.

*Andy Serkis is a legend. I kept thinking he’s Gollum though, I thought he was gonna say I’m tricksy.

*Gemma Arterton has a tattoo behind her ear.

WTF Happened To..(Part 1) Cuba Gooding Jnr, Billy Zane & Barry Pepper

This series is dedicated to any actor who has starred in a number of A list movies but for whatever reason they are now starring in Attack Of The Loch Ness Monster 6 or The Curse of Osirus…….. basically any film based on a myth i.e the Yeti, Lochness Monster, the Minator, a random giant snake or even worse an obscure mythical creature like the Chupacabra. This god forsaken stage is the step up from being featured in Celebrity Big Brother, which is another step up from Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Hopefully these actors can make comeback Mickey Rourke style, instead of eating giant worms and  sh*tting in a hole. If I had an agent that offered me Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, I’d fire them immediately then backhand them so hard they will forever have discomfort when taking a dump. I’m not writing this to bash them, I’m writing this as a fan and because I care (I don’t really). Enough of my intro here’s candidates (part 1).

Cuba Gooding Jr Tiger Woods Movie WTF Happened To..(Part 1) Cuba Gooding Jnr, Billy Zane & Barry Pepper

Cuba Gooding Jnr

This is a STRONG WTF HAPPENED TO, he’s won an Oscar! Cuba Gooding Jnr went from starring in great A list movies, to starring in straight to DVD movies, to then even worse, straight to Sci Fi Channel movies. He headlined films with Robert De Niro and Tom Cruise for pete’s sake! His latest films most likely have the same budget as the wage for the Key Grip’s, Pa’s, Phone Holder in Jerry Maguire. Boyz In the Hood in particular is a classic to me, but then he featured in Boat Trip, Norbit and Daddy Day Camp three of the worst movies I’ve ever seen amongst a whole host of crap films. From the outside looking in, he seems like a decent fellow, hopefully he starts featuring in better movies. Fingers crossed Red Tails (which is being produced by George Lucas) will be a return to form.

billy zane WTF Happened To..(Part 1) Cuba Gooding Jnr, Billy Zane & Barry Pepper

Billy Zane

As a man I shouldn’t  really say anything bad about a man who has gone out with Kelly Brook, but I can’t look over the fact that just over 10 years ago this man was a leading actor in the second biggest grossing film of all time. Now he’s best known to me as a guy who is ALWAYS in a crap film. If I see that Billy Zane is starring in a film, I automatically skip it.

005 WTF Happened To..(Part 1) Cuba Gooding Jnr, Billy Zane & Barry Pepper

Barry Pepper

This is slightly unfair but after Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile and 25th Hour I thought this guy would have a few Academy Award Nominations under his belt, I think he’s a brilliant actor. He has a few other good films on his resume but they were small parts.  He’s featuring in The Coen Brothers new film True Grit this year, hopefully that will get him back on track.
