Eat, Pray, Love Trailer – Starring Julia Roberts & Javier Bardem
Eat, Pray, Love is based on the best-selling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert, a book my Mum swears by (NOTE: My Mum is not the best endorsement for films/books – sorry mum). I guess if I was a 40+ year old women this would excite me, the fact that I’m a man in my mid 20′s, I have an interest level of roughly zilch. On a more positive note, visually the film looks rich and warm, I’m a fan of the cast as well, except Julia Roberts, I don’t mind her, I just don’t get all the fuss! Check out the trailer and synopsis below
Liz Gilbert (Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having – a husband, a house, a successful career – yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali. Based upon the bestselling memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert. Eat, Pray, Love comes to theaters August 13th (in the US), and stars Julia Roberts, James Franco, Javier Bardem, Billy Crudup, Richard Jenkins, Viola Davis, Tuva Novotny, Ali Khan. The film is directed by Ryan Murphy.
