First Official Look At Natalie Portman In Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan

Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming film ‘Black Swan’ has been given the honour of opening this years Venice International Film Festival. To celebrate we have been given our first official look at Darth Vader’s baby mama Natalie Portman in her ballet gear. Black Swan also stars Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder and Barbara Hershey, the film has been described as a supernatural drama set in the world of New York City Ballet. I’m really looking forward to this, I’m a huge fan of Darren Aronofsky. For me Requiem for a Dream is the greatest addiction movie ever made, The Wrestler was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed The Fountain (I know that was a bit hit and miss for some people). Also who doesn’t’ like a bunch of pretty brunettes dressed up as Ballerinas? I’m sold! Check out the USA Today article here, below is a short excerpt from the piece.
“The cast and crew of Black Swan are both excited and humbled by the selection committee’s invitation,” Aronofsky said in a press announcement. “It is an honor to walk the great red carpet on the Lido, and we are excited to premiere our film to the wonderful audiences in Venice.”
