The Next Three Days is a remake of the French thriller ”Anything for Her” from writer/director Paul Haggis. After winning the Best Picture Oscar for Crash five years ago, Haggis directed In the Valley of Elah, and also co-wrote both Clint Eastwood’s Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima, as well as the last two Bond pictures. Crash was pure gold for me, this has all the right ingredients to be top notch as well. From the trailer this looks emotionally charged and about as tense as a porcupine in a balloon factory! Life seems perfect for John Brennan until his wife, Lara, is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she didn’t commit.
