Christopher Nolan Reveals The Title Of His Third Batman Movie As ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ – Also Confirms The Riddler Is NOT The Villain
In an interview with Hero Complex, Christopher Nolan has announced that his highly anticipated third Batman film will be entitled “The Dark Knight Rises”.
In the interview he also eliminates the possibility of The Riddler as the villain of the film, “It won’t be the Riddler”. He goes on to say “We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones.”
I really wonder who Tom Hardy has been signed up to portray now. I, like most people always assumed it was The Riddler. Whatever happens I’ve got full faith in Christopher Nolan, his streak of great films is unparalleled at the moment – Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight and Inception.
Expect to hear more details soon. ‘The Dark Knight Rises′ has a release date of June 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy.
