Ben Affleck Set Photo From Terrence Malick’s Upcoming Romance Drama
With the welcomed news that Terrence Malick’s The Tree Of Life is set for a May 27th, 2011 release date. Osage News have released a couple images from the set of his next film, an untitled romantic drama starring Ben Affleck, Olga Kurylenko, Javier Bardem, Barry Pepper Rachel McAdams, and Rachel Weisz.
When it was announced that Malick was shooting a new film this year I was hugely surprised, he has made just 5 magnificent movies in 37 years – including a 20 year break between Days Of Heaven and The Thin Red Line – his fifth being 2011′s The Tree Of Life (which stars Brad Pitt and Sean Penn).
Romance movies generally don’t prick my ears up, yet if anyone could make a romance film that I personally would enjoy, it would be Malick. His movies are always visually stunning, deeply philosophical, rich and touching. He’s quite possibly my favourite director!
