Mark Ruffalo Talks About His Motion-Captured Hulk For ‘The Avengers’
MTV had a chinwag with Mark Ruffalo at last nights 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards and talked briefly about the actors role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Marvel’s forthcoming ‘The Avengers’ movie, dishing some details regarding his motion-captured Hulk.
“It’s cool, it’s gonna be great. The script is a nice combination of funny and was very in Joss Whedon’s wheelhouse. And I got to see the maquette of the Hulk yesterday in full scope and it’s awesome. Just like me. We’re going out of our way to…… first of all, I’m the first actor to actually do it in motion capture as the Hulk. And so, all the features are mine, they’re just really big.”
‘The Avengers’ is directed by Joss Whedon and is set to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner. ‘The Avengers’ hits cinemas May 4th, 2012.……when mass geekgasm’s shall ensue!
