Five Character Posters For ‘Immortals’ – Starring Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke & Freida Pinto
“THE GODS NEED A HERO.” Fandango have liberated these five new character posters for Tarsem Singh’s upcoming mythical fantasy-adventure flick ‘Immortals.’ With last years Clash Of The Titans and Percy Jackson, the Greek God’s must have been twisting their long white beards in disgust with the 2010 films based around Greek mythology, from the looks of it ‘Immortals’ seems to be a hell of a lot better than those two film.
The story follows a young warrior Theseus who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind. Freida Pinto will portray Phaedra, an oracle priestess who must join Theseus — played by Henry Cavill — on his quest to prevent the cataclysmic war from erupting. ‘Immortals” is set for release November the 11th, 2011. The film also stars Mickey Rourke, John Hurt, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz, Robert Maillet, Luke Evans and Corey Sevier.
