Debut Trailer & New Image Of Henry Cavill In Tarsem Singh’s ‘Immortals’
UPDATE: Debut HD trailer added below. Popeater have liberated this new image of a sword-wielding Henry Cavill in Tarsem Singh’s upcoming mythical fantasy-adventure flick ‘Immortals.’ With both Clash Of The Titans and Percy Jackson, the Greek God’s must have been twisting their long white beards in disgust with the 2010 films based around Greek mythology, from the looks of it ‘Immortals’ seems to be a hell of a lot better than those two flicks.
The story follows a young warrior named Theseus, who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind. Freida Pinto will portray Phaedra, an oracle priestess who must join Theseus — played by Henry Cavill — on his quest to prevent the cataclysmic war from erupting. ‘Immortals” is set for release November the 11th, 2011. The film also stars Mickey Rourke, John Hurt, Isabel Lucas, Kellan Lutz, Robert Maillet, Luke Evans and Corey Sevier.
