The official Facebook page of ‘The Hobbit’ has unleashed the first look at Jed Brophy as Nori, Adam Brown as Ori and Mark Hadlow as Dori in Peter Jackson’s upcoming two-part “The Hobbit” feature film adaptation. Both films are set in Middle-earth 60 years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings,” which Jackson and his filmmaking team brought to the big screen in the fantastic  blockbuster trilogy that culminated with the Oscar®-winning “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,’ has been pencilled in for a December 14th, 2012 release date. ‘The Hobbit: There and Back Again’ will hit cinemas December 13th, 2013. Check out the character description provided for the trio below.

DORI, NORI & ORI: These three brothers, all sons of the same mother, could not be more different from each other. Dori, the oldest, spends much of his time watching out for Ori, the youngest; making sure he’s not caught a chill or got himself killed by Wargs or Goblins. Nobody quite knows what Nori gets up to most of the time, except that it’s guaranteed to be dodgy and quite probably, illegal. Dori, Nori and Ori are intensely loyal to each other – and whilst they are perfectly happy fighting amongst themselves, woe-betide anyone who means harm to one of these brothers.
