New Theatrical Trailer For ’Underworld: Awakening’ – Starring Kate Beckinsale
Yahoo! has unveiled this new theatrical trailer for Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein’s ’Underworld: Awakening.’ Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two Underworld films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species. Alongside Beckinsale, the likes of Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance also star. The film is set for release January 20th, 2012.
“After being held in a coma-like state for fifteen years, vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale) learns that she has a fourteen-year-old vampire/Lycan hybrid daughter, Nissa, and when she finds her they must stop BioCom from creating super Lycans that will kill them all.”
