First Trailer & Poster For ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ – Starring Nicholas Hoult, Ian McShane & Ewan McGregor
iTunes Movie Trailers has premiered this first trailer and poster for Bryan Singer’s (The Usual Suspects, X-Men 2) upcoming fantasy adventure flick ‘Jack the Giant Killer.’ ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ is said to be a darker spin on the classic fairy tale of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” In the film, Nicholas Hoult (A Single Man, X-Men: First Class) will play a farmer who leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom to rescue a kidnapped princess (Eleanor Tomlinson). Bill Nighy, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Ewan McGregor, Eddie Marsan and John Kassir also star. ‘Jack the Giant Killer’ is scheduled for release June 15th.
“Jack the Giant Killer” tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittinglyopens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
