More Images Of Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto & Zoe Saldana On The Set Of ‘Star Trek 2′

Following the first batch of the set images from J.J. Abrams’ upcoming ‘Star Trek’ sequel popping up online yesterday, Yahoo! Movies, PopSugar and toofab have debuted some more images from the much anticipated film. The images provide us with a look at the films mysterious villain, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, duking it out with Zachary Quinto’s Spock, and facing off with Zoe Saldana’s Uhuru.

‘Star Trek 2′ will be released May 17th, 2013 in 3D. The 2009 re-launch of the ‘Star Trek’ franchise by Abrams was met with critical acclaim and a worldwide gross of over $385 million at the box office. Returning to their posts on the Enterprise are John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, and Anton Yelchin. They are joined by new cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve, Noel Clarke, Nazneen Contractor and Peter Weller.  Based upon “Star Trek” created by Gene Roddenberry, the as-yet-untitled film is produced by J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk, Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. The script was written by Alex Kurtzman & Robert Orci & Damon Lindelof.
