anchorman 2 Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) Announces That Anchorman 2 Is OFFICIAL

“Sweet Lincoln’s mullet! Great Odin’s raven! Son of a bee-sting! By the beard of Zeus!” Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) has announced on the Conan show some thoroughly thumbs-up worthy news: ‘Anchorman 2′ is a go! The comedy sequel will be produced through Paramount Pictures, with Adam McKay to return in the directors chair as well as co-write the script with Will Ferrell.

Alongside Will Ferrell reprising his role as Ron Burgundy, original cast members Steve Carell and Paul Rudd are also set to return – hopefully the likes of David Koechner, Christina Applegate and Fred Willard all come back for the follow-up. As a massive fan of the original, fingers crossed we get to see this sequel sooner rather than later.
