The Hollywood Reporter bring word that Ken Jeong will see his Mr. Chow role significantly expanded in ‘The Hangover Part III,’ the forthcoming third installment in Todd Phillips’ record-breaking comedy franchise. Jeong’s scene-stealing turn in 2009’s ‘The Hangover’ was followed by a return engagement in 2011’s ‘The Hangover: Part II.’ Scheduled for release May 24th, 2013, Todd Phillips is writing the screenplay for ‘The Hangover Part III’ with Craig Mazin, who also collaborated with him on the screenplay for ‘The Hangover Part II.’

While plot details are currently under lock and key, ‘The Hangover Part III’ will also star Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, who are reprising their roles of Phil, Stu and Alan, collectively known to moviegoers as “the Wolfpack.” In the previous two films, the three friends attempts to plan a celebration have resulted in disaster for them, but led to a combined billion-dollar success at the worldwide box office. Todd Phillips is again producing the film under his Green Hat Films banner, together with Dan Goldberg. Thomas Tull and Scott Budnick will serve as executive producers. Production on ‘The Hangover Part III’ is projected to begin in September.
