Hot on the heels of yesterday’s first tease, Paramount Pictures has unveiled this second short teaser in time for the launch of the first ‘Paranormal Activity 4′ trailer on Wednesday. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are returning to the directors chair for this fourth instalment in the ‘Paranormal Activity’ franchise.  They directed ‘Paranormal Activity 3′ on a budget of $5 million, which subsequently went onto gross $202,951,300, making it the highest grossing film in the ‘Paranormal Activity’ series. The directing duo made their debut with the chilling documentary ‘Catfish.’

Paramount Pictures has pencilled in a October 21st release date for ‘Paranormal Activity 4.’ There are currently no details as to what the fourth ‘Paranormal Activity’ film will entail, or whether any of the franchise’s cast will be returning. ‘Paranormal Activity 2′ collected a hefty $156 million worldwide upon its release on a $3 million production budget. The original, directed by Oren Peli, earned $193 million at the box office on a $15,000 budget. ‘Paranormal Activity 4′ is written by Zack Estrin (The River, Prison Break).
