First Look At Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson & Gina Carano On The Set Of ‘Fast & Furious 6′

As “the people’s champ”, it just feels right that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson consistently provides his Twitter followers with a day-to-day update on what he’s up to. Today he’s unveiled the first set image from the sixth ‘Fast & Furious’ movie, featuring himself and an exciting newcomer to the franchise in Gina Carano (Haywire). The MMA athlete-turned-actress will play a member of Diplomatic Security Service Agent Luke Hobbs’ (Dwayne Johnson) team. Here’s what Dwayne Johnson tweeted: “@TheRock Beast & the Beauty”.. Me & my FAST 6 partner in ass kickins (and fun) @ginacarano #BadAssChick.” With the huge success of ‘Fast Five’ financially and critically, more adrenaline filled action, car racing shenanigans, and manly pouts scowls were always going to be heading our way.  The cast for the film is also set to include Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans and Joe Taslim.

While plot details are currently under wraps, it has been rumoured that ‘Fast & Furious 6′ involves the crew heading overseas to work on a heist job that Evans’ rival crew has already staked out. Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return to produce, while director Justin Lin is again helming the film. ‘Fast and Furious 6′ is likely to feature a HUGE cast if all are returning from ‘Fast Five.’ That film starred Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Elsa Pataky, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar. ‘Fast & Furious 6′ has been scheduled for release May 24th, 2013.
