“Fight. Dream. Hope. Love.” With the eagerly awaited release of ‘Les Misérables’ on the horizon, Working Title Films and  Universal Pictures have unveiled this stunning TV spot for Tom Hooper’s (The King’s Speech) adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel and subsequent stage musical. Primarily centering on the films critical acclaim and 4 Golden Globe nominations (Best Actor for Hugh Jackman, Best Supporting Actress for Anne Hathaway, Best Picture, and Best Original Song), the spot also showcases some excellent new snippets of footage from the film.

Les Misérables’ features a fantastic cast in Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Samantha Barks as Eponine, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Daniel Huttlestone as Gavroche, Sacha Baron Cohen as Monsieur Thenardierto, and Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier. The film lands in cinemas on December 25th in the US and January 11th in the UK.

In ‘Les Misérables,’ Jean Valjean (Jackman), a Frenchman imprisoned for stealing bread, has broken his parole and must flee from police Inspector Javert (Crowe). The pursuit consumes both men’s lives, and after two decades on the run, Valjean finds himself in the midst of the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris.
