“Epic Experience” TV Spot For ‘Les Misérables’ – Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe & Anne Hathaway
“Fight. Dream. Hope. Love.” Presented by Hugh Jackman, Working Title Films and Universal Pictures have unveiled this “Epic Experience” TV spot for Tom Hooper’s (The King’s Speech) feature adaptation of ‘Les Misérables.’ Primarily focusing on the films critical acclaim and four Golden Globe nominations (Best Actor for Hugh Jackman, Best Supporting Actress for Anne Hathaway, Best Picture, and Best Original Song), the extended spot also provides us with some excellent new snippets of footage from the eagerly awaited musical.
Les Misérables’ features a truly stellar cast in Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Samantha Barks as Eponine, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Daniel Huttlestone as Gavroche, Sacha Baron Cohen as Monsieur Thenardierto, Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier, and Colm Wilkinson – the original Jean Valjean in the Broadway and West End musical productions – as the Bishop of Digne. The film lands in cinemas on December 25th in the US and January 11th in the UK.
In ‘Les Misérables,’ Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman), a Frenchman imprisoned for stealing bread, has broken his parole and must flee from police Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe). The pursuit consumes both men’s lives, and after two decades on the run, Valjean finds himself in the midst of the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris.
