Josh Brolin Sin City A Dame to Kill For

Robert Rodriguez has revealed through his Twitter account this first look at Josh Brolin’s Dwight in ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.’ The filmmaker tweeted the following about the behind-the-scenes image below, “Having a BLAST making this movie. Amazing cast, and they’re all doing fantastic work. Here’s bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on)” For the above image, Rodriguez added, “And here’s a quick photo touch up I do to set a tone for the actors. (Probably won’t be raining in final movie)”

Alongside Josh Brolin, the ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ cast includes the original cast members: Mickey Rourke as “Marv,” Jessica Alba as “Nancy,” Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Rosario Dawson as “Gail” and Jaime King as “Goldie/Wendy.” New cast members include: Eva Green as “Ava Lord,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “Johnny,” Dennis Haysbert as “Manute,” Christopher Meloni as “Mort,” Jeremy Piven as “Bob,” Stacy Keach as “Wallenquist,” Jamie Chung as “Miho,” Ray Liotta as “Joey,” Juno Temple as “Sally,” and Julia Garner as “Marcy.”

‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ weaves together two of Frank Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. In the film, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” (featured in the film Frank Miller’s ‘Sin City’) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face (Dwight was played by Clive Owen in the original film). ’Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ will be released by Dimension Films in the US and Canada on October 4th.
