Deadline are reporting that Topher Grace is in talks to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar,’ which already includes the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Foy, Ellen Burstyn, Timothee Chalamet, John Lithgow and Casey Affleck. Besides his work as Eric Forman in That ’70s Show,’ Grace’s work on the big screen includes films like ‘Spider-Man 3,’ ‘Predators’ and ‘The Big Wedding.’

While details on the film are currently few and far between, ’Interstellar’ will reportedly depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding. The story is said to be based on scientific theories developed by Kip Thorne, a theoretical physicist, a gravitational physicist and astrophysicist at Caltech. Jonathan Nolan wrote the original script, which has since been merged with one of Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi ideas. The director is also producing with Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst, while Jordan Goldberg will executive produce with Kip Thorne, who serves as a technical consultant on the project.

Set for a November 7th, 2014 release, Christopher Nolan has enlisted cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema to shoot ‘Interstellar.’ Hoytema’s previous work includes the likes of ‘Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy,’ ’The Fighter’ and the original ’Let the Right One In.’ The director had to find a new cinematographer as longtime, Academy Award winning partner Wally Pfister is currently busy with his directional debut, ‘Transcendence.’ The score for ‘Interstellar’ will be by Hans Zimmer, who previously worked with Nolan on his Batman trilogy – ‘Batman Begins,’ ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ – and on ‘Inception,’ for which he received an Oscar nomination. To date the composer has been nominated for nine Oscars and previously won for Disney’s ‘The Lion King.’
