Awesome Rorschach Test Poster For ‘Thor: The Dark World’

In the ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ the likes of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Jaimie Alexander (Sif), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Ray Stevenson (Volstagg), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis), Rene Russo (Frigga), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Stellan Skarsgård (Dr. Erik Selvig) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) reprise their roles from the first ‘Thor’ film, while Zack Levi is confirmed to play Fandril, Christopher Eccleston will play the villainous Malekith The Accursed, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be playing Algrim the Strong and Kurse.
‘Thor: The Dark World’ continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor” and ‘The Avengers,’ Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos… but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. To defeat an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save not only his people and those he loves… but our universe itself.
Alan Taylor, an accomplished TV director whose credits include ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Boardwalk Empire,’ ‘Mad Men,’ ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Nurse Jackie,’ takes over directorial duties from Kenneth Branagh, who helmed the first ‘Thor’ film. Don Payne, who co-wrote the first film, penned the original draft with Robert Rodat doing the most recent polish. ‘Thor: The Dark World’ is set for a October 30th release in the UK and a November 8th bow in the US. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle, Alan Fine, Nigel Gostelow and Stan Lee. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
In addition to “Thor: The Dark World,” Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on July 31, 2015.
