While the film is out now in the UK and in Los Angeles and New York in the US, Fox Searchlight has today unveiled this red band trailer for Wes Anderson’s ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ before it expands into more cinemas this week in North America. In the US, the film broke the record for the highest-grossing limited live-action debut of all time. The comedy-drama opened in four theaters on Friday, and averaged more than $200,000 per theater, overtaking the Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘The Master,’ which averaged $147,000. ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ will screen in more than 1,000 screens over the next five weeks as it slowly expands.
