The beloved actor, film director, producer and entrepreneur Richard Attenborough has died at the age of 90. As a film director and producer, Richard Attenborough won two Academy Awards for ‘Gandhi’ in 1983. He has also won four BAFTA Awards and four Golden Globe Awards. As an actor he is perhaps best known for his roles in ‘Brighton Rock,’ ‘The Great Escape,’ ’10 Rillington Place,’ ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ and Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur blockbuster ‘Jurassic Park.’
In addition to ‘Gandhi,’ Richard Attenborough also directed the Steve Biko story ‘Cry Freedom,’ one of the few serious films made in the 1980s attacking apartheid in South Africa, the Robert Downey Jr-led ‘Chaplin,’ and ‘Shadowlands.’ Richard Attenborough was the older brother of Sir David Attenborough, the naturalist and broadcaster, and John Attenborough, who was an executive at Alfa Romeo before his death in 2012. RIP to a wonderful man and a giant of cinema.

When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened.
