In Clint Eastwood’s ‘American Sniper,’ Bradley Cooper plays Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL who has the most confirmed sniper kills in U.S. military history. The book that the film is based on, ‘American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History,’ spent 18 weeks on the New York Times best-seller list and 13 weeks at #1. Co-starring the likes of Sienna Miller, Luke Grimes, Kyle Gallner, Sam Jaeger, Jake McDorman and Cory Hardict, ‘American Sniper’ lands in US theaters in a limited release on December 25th, before expanding on January 16th (the date it also arrives in UK cinemas).

This first clip has arrived online from Alex Garland’s awesome looking directorial debut ‘Ex_Machina.’ The film is an intense psychological thriller in which Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a 24 year old coder at the world’s largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a retreat belonging to the company’s reclusive CEO, Nathan (Oscar Isaac). But when Caleb arrives he finds that he will have to participate in a fascinating experiment with the world’s first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot woman, Ava (Alicia Vikander). Truths, emotions and motives are blurred as the relationship between Caleb, Ava and Nathan intensifies.

New ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ Trailer – Starring Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel…
Fox Searchlight Pictures have revealed this latest trailer for ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,’ which opens on March 6th, 2015. John Madden (Shakespeare in Love) has returned to helm the follow-up companion feature to the 2012 film from an original screenplay by Ol Parker, from a story by Parker and Madden. The cast has reunited for the film including stars Judi Dench (Evelyn), Maggie Smith (Muriel), Bill Nighy (Douglas), Dev Patel (Sonny), Celia Imrie (Madge), Ronald Pickup (Norman), Penelope Wilton (Jean), Diana Hardcastle (Carol), Tena Desae (Sunaina) and Lillete Dubey (Mrs. Kapoor). Additional cast making their debut include Richard Gere, David Strathairn and Tamsin Greig. The original earned $136.8 million worldwide on a budget of just $10 million.
Sony Pictures Entertainment have set loose these great new posters for ‘Pixels,’ the live action/computer-animated comedy that stars the likes of Peter Dinklage, Adam Sandler, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox and Kevin James. In ‘Pixels,’ when aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game champion Jules Brenner, now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders to defeat the aliens and save the planet.
Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s ‘The BFG’ has cast newcomer Ruby Barnhill in the role of Sophie, a young London girl introduced to the beauty and peril of Giant Country. ‘The BFG’ will mark 10-year-old Barnhill’s first feature film, having previously been cast in the BBC’s BAFTA award-winning children’s drama “Four O’Clock Club,” as well as performing local youth theatre in her hometown of Cheshire. She will appear opposite three-time Tony Award winner and two-time Olivier Award winner Mark Rylance as the mysterious Big Friendly Giant. “After a lengthy search, I feel Roald Dahl himself would have found Ruby every bit as marvelous as we do,” said Spielberg. “We have discovered a wonderful Sophie in Ruby Barnhill.”
