First Official Images From Martin McDonagh’s ‘Seven Psychopaths’ – Starring Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell & Woody Harrelson

As an enormous fan of writer/director Martin McDonagh’s ‘In Bruges,’ McDonagh’s latest project, the action-comedy ‘Seven Psychopaths,’ is undoubtedly one of my most anticipated releases of 2012. ‘Seven Psychopaths’ re-teams McDonagh with his ‘In Bruges’ star Colin Farrell, the stellar cast also includes Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Olga Kurylenko, Abbie Cornish, Kevin Corrigan, and Gabourey Sidibe.
Described as a “blood-drenched, black comedy,” the film follows Marty (Colin Farrell), a struggling writer who dreams of finishing his screenplay ‘Seven Psychopaths.’ All he needs is a little focus and inspiration. Billy (Sam Rockwell) is Marty’s best friend, an unemployed actor and part time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary. Hans (Christopher Walken) is Billy’s partner in crime. A religious man with a violent past. Charlie is the psychopathetic gangster whose beloved dog, Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie’s unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn’t think twice about killing anyone or anything associated with the theft. Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale. The film is set for release in the fall. Source: Entertainment Weekly.

In ancient Mesopotamian there is a legend that one day a child will be born from a dragon and vanquish evil from the world. That man is not Danny Trejo, because Danny killed that man…..with a sock and a Mars bar. Moving swiftly on, this sales poster has emerged online, courtesy of Comingsoon, for Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Machete’ sequel, ‘Machete Kills.’
The exploitation pic is said to have Machete teaming with the U.S. Government to take on a Mexican drug cartel and a James Bond-style villain who seeks world domination with a satellite weapon. Rodriguez is planning a April shoot for ‘Machete Kills,’ which sees the return Danny Trejo to the character he played in a fake trailer featured in ‘Grindhouse’ and the original 2010 film. ‘Machete Kills’ will reportedly feature a Grindhouse-style trailer for a third entry in the ‘Machete’ franchise, ‘Machete Kills Again… In Space!’ Expect more details regarding ‘Machete Kills’ soon. I’m stoked for this!
