Sony Pictures has debuted this fantastic theatrical trailer for Marc Webb’s hotly anticipated ‘The Amazing Spider-Man.’ Based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the 3D action-adventure will be swinging onto the big screen July 3rd in the US, and July 4th in the UK. The film stars Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Rhys Ifans (Dr. Curt Conners/The Lizard), Denis Leary (George Stacy), Campbell Scott (Richard Parker), Irrfan Khan (Nels Van Adder/Proto-Goblin), Martin Sheen (Ben Parker) and Sally Field (May Parker). ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves.

One of the world’s most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Focusing on an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story, the new film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field. “The Amazing Spider-Man” is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Featuring snippets of new footage, Sony Pictures has released these three TV spots for their barmy looking action adventure flick ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.’ It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider. Directed by Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine (Crank, Gamer), ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance’ opens February 17th. Marvel has unleashed this Super Bowl TV spot for their forthcoming superhero ensemble flick ‘The Avengers’ – further adding to my fervent excitement for the film! Directed by Joss Whedon, ‘The Avengers’ stars Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye/Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man/Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki). The likes of Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, and Stellen Skarsgard co-star. ‘The Avengers’ opens in cinemas April 27th in the UK, and May 4th in the US. Universal Pictures has unveiled this Super Bowl TV spot for the 3D-CGI feature ’Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.’ Opening in 3D and 2D cinemas on March 2nd in the US and July 27th in the UK, the film features the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, Taylor Swift and Betty White.

‘Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax’ is an adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. Danny DeVito will lend his vocal talents to the iconic title character of the Lorax, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler. Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic young boy who searches for the Lorax, and Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams. Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma.

Walt Disney Pictures has set loose this Super Bowl TV spot for Andrew Stanton’s (WALL•E, Finding Nemo) action-adventure epic ‘John Carter.’ ‘John Carter’ chronicles the journey of Civil-War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who finds himself battling a new and mysterious war amidst a host of strange Martian inhabitants, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). Set for release March 9th, the film also stars the likes of Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, and  Thomas Hayden Church. ‘John Carter’ is an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs ‘John Carter of Mars.’

Universal Pictures has released this Super Bowl TV spot for Peter Berg’s (The Kingdom, Hancock) forthcoming summer blockbuster ‘Battleship.’ From what I’ve seen so far, I’m convinced that the best film to see drunk in 2012 is undoubtedly, unquestionably, beyond a  shadow of a doubt, unmistakably……‘Battleship.’ The film, a sci-fi/actioner that is loosely based on the popular Hasbro board game of the same name, stars Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Kitsch, Josh Pence and Rihanna. ‘Battleship’ is set for release May 18th.

20th Century Fox has let out the hatch these six clips from McG’s upcoming action/adventure comedy ’This Means War.’ Pencilled in for a February 14th release date, the film stars Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Chelsea Handler, and Angela Bassett. ’This Means War’ centers on two CIA operatives (Hardy and Pine) who wage special-ops warfare on each other when they both fall for the same lady (Witherspoon).

Two of the world’s top secret agents are best friends who never let anything come between them — until they inadvertently fall for the same woman. It’s all-out war between them, as the two spies battle each other with high-tech surveillance, advanced tactics, and an arsenal capable of bringing down a small country. With the films release on the horizon, Yahoo! Movies has unveiled this new trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of Suzanne Colin’s best-selling novel, ‘The Hunger Games.’ Academy Award nominee Jennifer Lawrence headlines the film as Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, a boy and girl are chosen from each of the country’s 12 districts to fight each by lottery to compete to the death in gladiator-like spectacles, the Hunger Games.  Katniss is from one of the poorest districts, but she is skilled in archery and hunting, which makes her a fierce competitor. Alongside Jennifer Lawrence, the cast also includes Lenny Kravitz, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Amandia Stenberg, Alexander Ludwig, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones and Stanley Tucci.  ’The Hunger Games’ is scheduled for a March 23rd release.

In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart, Peeta, the son of the town baker who seems to have all the fighting skills of a lump of bread dough, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

‘The Hunger Games’ is directed by Gary Ross, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik.
