Open Road Films has unveiled this new trailer for writer-director Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Machete Kills.’ In the sequel, Danny Trejo returns as the titular Machete, joined by Michelle Rodriguez and Jessica Alba reprising their roles from the first film. The story finds Machete recruited by the U.S. government to take down a cartel leader and stop an arms dealer from launching a deadly missile. ’Machete Kills’ arrives in cinemas on October 11th.
‘Machete Kills’ has Mel Gibson on-board as the villainous arms dealer, while Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demian Bichir, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror and Alexa Vega round out the newcomers. The official synopsis for ‘Machete Kills’ is as follows: “Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent MACHETE, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.”
Magnolia Pictures has debuted two clips from ‘Prince Avalanche,’ the new film from writer/director David Gordon Green. Opening in theaters and VOD on August 9th, the film is lead by Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. ‘Prince Avalanche’ features a score by Explosions in the Sky and David Wingo, and was loosely adapted from an Icelandic film called ‘Either Way.’ Source: The Playlist.

Yahoo! Movies has debuted this trailer for J.C. Chandor’s acclaimed survival drama, ‘All Is Lost.’ Deep into a solo voyage in the Indian Ocean, an unnamed man (Robert Redford) wakes to find his 39-foot yacht taking on water after a collision with a shipping container left floating on the high seas. With his navigation equipment and radio disabled, the man sails unknowingly into the path of a violent storm. Despite his success in patching the breached hull, his mariner’s intuition and a strength that belies his age, the man barely survives the tempest.
Using only a sextant and nautical maps to chart his progress, he is forced to rely on ocean currents to carry him into a shipping lane in hopes of hailing a passing vessel. But with the sun unrelenting, sharks circling and his meager supplies dwindling, the ever-resourceful sailor soon finds himself staring his mortality in the face. ‘All Is Lost’ opens on October 18th.

Pictures has released this new NSFW trailer for Rawson Thurber’s (Dodgeball) upcoming comedy, ‘We’re The Millers.’ A small-time pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis) hires a phony family as camouflage to bring two metric tons of weed from Mexico to Colorado. This plan includes working with a cynical stripper (Jennifer Aniston) as his faux wife, along with a homeless teen (Emma Roberts) and geeky neighborhood British kid (Will Poulter) as their offspring. Set for a August 7th release in the US and an August 23rd bow in the UK, ‘We’re The Millers’ also stars Ed Helms, Molly C. Quinn, Kathryn Hahn and Nick Offerman.
