Walt Disney Pictures has revealed this latest featurette for ‘The Lone Ranger.’ A top-notch cast has been assembled for the film, with Armie Hammer (The Social Network) taking on the role of the titular character, Johnny Depp playing Tonto, and the likes of Ruth Wilson, William Fichtner, Helena Bonham Carter, James Badge Dale, Barry Pepper, Tom Wilkinson and James Frain co-starring. Legendary Pictures has set loose, via iTunes Movie Trailers, this new behind-the-scenes featurette for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming action-adventure movie, ‘Pacific Rim.’ Set for a July 12th 2D and 3D release, ’Pacific Rim’ is set in 2025, the 12th year of a war against giant malevolent alien creatures who reside in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. To combat its annihilation, the planet must band together and use highly advanced weapons technology to eradicate the growing threat. Undoubtedly one of my most anticipated movies of 2013, ‘Pacific Rim’ boasts a stellar cast of Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Rob Kazinsky, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Willem Dafoe, Ron Perlman and Max Martini.
From acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ epic sci-fi action adventure “Pacific Rim.” When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
