This first full-length trailer has arrived online for the upcoming biopic, ‘Diana.’ The film, previously reported under its working title of ‘Caught In Flight,’ is directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel (Academy-Award nominated for ‘Downfall’) from a screenplay by Stephen Jeffreys (The Libertine). Leading the cast is Academy-Award nominated actress Naomi Watts as the eponymous and iconic Princess. Joining Watts is Naveen Andrews as Dr Hasnat Khan, Douglas Hodge and Juliet Stevenson.
‘Diana’ is described as a compelling portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales during the final two years of her life. It charts how finding true personal happiness allowed her to achieve her defining successes, as she evolved into a major international campaigner and humanitarian. Reports say that the story is about “Diana’s covert love affair with Dr. Hasnat Khan, a Pakistani heart surgeon. This happened in the last two years of her life, before she met Dodi Fayed, and the need for privacy led to her meeting her lover in disguises. This gave her a sense of living an anonymous life, but her incredible worldwide fame became an issue.” ‘Diana’ is set for September 20th in the UK. Expect a US release date for the film shortly.

Set for a August 16th release in the US, the film is directed by Joshua Michael Stern, written by Matthew Whitely and shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Russell Carpenter. The filmmakers were granted unprecedented access during shooting to the historic garage in Palo Alto, that served as the birthplace to Apple Inc. ‘jOBS’ stars Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.
JOBS details the major moments and defining characters that influenced Steve Jobs on a daily basis from 1971 through 2001. The film plunges into the depths of his character, creating an intense dialogue-driven story that is as much a sweeping epic as it is an immensely personal portrait of Steve Jobs’ life.
“Destroying a Custom Shelby” Featurette For ‘Getaway’ – Starring Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez & Jon Voight
Warner Bros. Pictures has set loose this new behind-the-scenes featurette for the action-thriller, ‘Getaway.’ Directed by Courtney Solomon and Yaron Levy, the film stars the likes of Ethan Hawke, Selena Gomez, Jon Voight, Rebecca Budig, and Bruce Payne. ‘Getaway’ is described as a “gritty, heart-pounding action thriller in which former race car driver Brent Magna (Hawke) is pitted against the clock. Desperately trying to save the life of his kidnapped wife, Brent commandeers a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage.” ‘Getaway’ arrives in cinemas on August 30th in the US and October 4th in the UK.
TriStar Pictures has unveiled this latest behind-the-scenes featurette for Neill Blomkamp’s ‘Elysium,’ taking a look at the different droids in the sci-fi thriller. As a huge fan of Blomkamp’s ‘District 9’ – that film had style and substance in abundance – ‘Elysium’ is without a doubt one of my most anticipated of 2013. Further adding to my excitement is the top-notch cast the filmmaker assembled for the film in Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, Sharlto Copley, Jose Pablo Cantillo, William Fichtner, Alice Braga, and Diego Luna. ‘Elysium’ arrives on August 9th in the US and September 20th in the UK.
In the year 2159 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes (Jodie Foster), a hard line government official will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky Max (Matt Damon) is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

For ‘Kick-Ass 2,’ Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloë Grace Moretz are reprising their respective roles of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl, while Christopher Mintz-Plasse will return as the villainous Red Mist.
