New Trailer For ‘The Hunger Games’

With the films release on the horizon, Yahoo! Movies has unveiled this new trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of Suzanne Colin’s best-selling novel, ‘The Hunger Games.’ Academy Award nominee Jennifer Lawrence headlines the film as Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, a boy and girl are chosen from each of the country’s 12 districts to fight each by lottery to compete to the death in gladiator-like spectacles, the Hunger Games. Katniss is from one of the poorest districts, but she is skilled in archery and hunting, which makes her a fierce competitor. Alongside Jennifer Lawrence, the cast also includes Lenny Kravitz, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Amandia Stenberg, Alexander Ludwig, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones and Stanley Tucci. ’The Hunger Games’ is scheduled for a March 23rd release.
In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart, Peeta, the son of the town baker who seems to have all the fighting skills of a lump of bread dough, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.
Final Teaser Trailer For The Excellent Dramatic Sci-Fi Flick ‘Chronicle’

This final teaser trailer has found its way online for ‘Chronicle,’ Josh Trank’s fantastically inventive documentary-style superhero film. ‘Chronicle’ follows three high school students as they make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over. ‘Chronicle’ is out in cinemas now. The film stars Dane Dehaan, Alex Russell, Michael b. Jordan, and Michael Kelly.
New technologies and social communities allow us to record, post and comment on every second of our lives, sharing our every emotion and opinion with the world, no matter how mundane. For three high school classmates who suddenly gain superpowers from a mysterious substance, the chronicle of their ordinary lives is about to take on extraordinary turn.
Initially they use their powers to play innocent pranks on each other and people around them, but soon they gain confidence and learn to control their powers better to take on more difficult tasks. Their newfound sense of immortality and impunity will force them to evaluate their own morality to ultimately decide where to draw the line about how far they should go.
Super Bowl TV Spot For ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ – Starring Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson & Bruce Willis

Through iTunes Movie Trailers, Paramount Pictures has unleashed this Super Bowl TV spot for ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation.’ Channing Tatum (Duke), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), and Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow) are reprising their roles from the first film. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (Roadblock), Adrianne Palicki (Lady Jaye), RZA (Blind Master), D.J. Cotrona (Flint), Joseph Mazzello (Mouse), Walton Goggins (Warden Nigel James), Elodie Yung (Jinx), and Bruce Willis (General Joe Colton) are all joining the sequel. Expect cheesy one-liners and action in abundance when ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ is released in cinemas June 29th in the US, and June 22nd in the UK. The film is directed by Jon Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Step Up 2: The Streets). The script is by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland).

JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe(R) characters, the film is scheduled to be released on June 29,2012.
New Trailer For ‘Red Lights’ – Starring Robert De Niro, Sigourney Weaver & Cillian Murphy

Millenium Entertainment has unveiled this new English-language trailer for the eagerly anticipated supernatural thriller ‘Red Lights.’ I’ve got extremely high hopes for this film, it’s director/writer Rodrigo Cortes’ follow-up to ’Buried’ – a film which exuded a seemingly impossible amount of gripping drama out of its claustrophobic premise. ‘Red Lights’ revolves around a pair of skeptical investigators (Sigourney Weaver, Cillian Murphy) on a mission to reveal practitioners of psychic arts (Robert De Niro) as phonies. Toby Jones, Joely Richardson, Elizabeth Olsen, Craig Roberts, Leonardo Sbaraglia and Adriane Lenox co-star. Expect a release date soon.
A film about how the brain does not give a true picture of reality. Sigourney Weaver will play Margaret Matheson in a film that follows a para-psychologist who attempts to debunk a very reputable psychic who has just returned to the limelight after 30 years.
In the film, De Niro stars as Simon Silver, a legendary psychic, perhaps the most famously gifted of all time, who returns after thirty years of mysterious absence to become the world’s greatest challenge to orthodox science and professional skeptics. Meanwhile, paranormal fraud investigator Tom (Murphy) begins to develop a dense obsession Silver, whose magnetism is enhanced dangerously with each new manifestation of inexplicable phenomena.
Super Bowl TV Spot For Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘The Dictator’

Paramount Pictures has released, via The Sun, this Super Bowl TV spot for ‘The Dictator,’ Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest comedy transformation. Written by Cohen and directed by Larry Charles (Borat, Bruno), the film is set for a May 11th release in the US, and May 18th release in the UK. The likes of Anna Faris, J.B. Smoove, Jason Mantzoukas, Megan Fox, John C. Reilly, and Ben Kingsley co-star.
‘The Dictator’ tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel “Zabibah and The King” by Saddam Hussein. Check out the 30-second teaser below. Expect a new theatrical trailer shortly.
‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ Superbowl TV Spot Teaser

Accompanying tonight’s Twitter chat with cast members Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson), alongside writer/director Joss Whedon, Marvel has released this 10-second tease of the 30-second Super Bowl spot that will air during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th. This brief snippet is pretty epic, it gives us our first real look at Hulk – thumbs up Marvel!
