Total Film has posted this new teaser poster for Richard Ayoade’s (Submarine, The IT Crowd) upcoming comedy drama, ‘The Double.’ Inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novella of the same name, the film is lead by Jesse Eisenberg as a government clerk whose life is destroyed after what he believes to be an exact copy of himself begins working in his office and attempts to ruin his life. Alongside Eisenberg, the likes of Noah Taylor, Mia Wasikowska, Wallace Shawn, Rade Serbedzija, James Fox and Yasmin Paige co-star. Magnolia Pictures will distribute the movie in the US, but it currently doesn’t have a release date.

Universal Pictures has unveiled, via IMDB, this behind-the-scenes featurette for Peter Berg’s ‘Lone Survivor.’ Starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Emile Hirsch and Eric Bana, the film tells the story of four Navy SEALs on an ill-fated covert mission to neutralize a high-level Taliban operative when they are ambushed by enemy forces in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. ’Lone Survivor’ is based on The New York Times bestseller ‘Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of Seal Team 10.’ The film opens in limited theaters on December 27th before going wide in the Us on January 10th. It’s set for January 31st in the UK.

Closely following the release of the film’s first red band trailer, Yahoo! has debuted this first green band trailer for ’22 Jump Street.’ The film is the upcoming the sequel to the 2012 action-comedy blockbuster ’21 Jump Street,’ which took in more than $200 million at the worldwide box office. ’22 Jump Street’ reunites Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as they return to their roles as undercover cops Schmidt and Jenko; they are also re-teaming with ’21 Jump Street’ directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,’ upcoming ‘The LEGO Movie’). Alongside Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, Ice Cube reprises his role as Captain Dickson.
In the action-comedy, after making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. Opening on June 13th, the film also stars Nick Offerman, Dave Franco, Rob Riggle, Amber Stevens, Jillian Bell, and Craig Roberts.
Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ opens on December 25th in the US and January 17th in the UK. Based on Jordan Belfort’s 1990 best-selling memoir of the same name, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ brings Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio together for their fifth feature collaboration. Alongside DiCaprio, the stellar cast for the film also includes Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Kyle Chandler, Jon Bernthal, Margot Robbie, Jon Favreau, Matthew McConaughey and Kenneth Choi.
‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ is lead by Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, a man who experiences a dramatic rise on Wall Street, and gets lost in the drugs and other excess of a hard partying lifestyle that comes hand in hand with all that money. In the film, Kyle Chandler plays Coleman, an FBI agent. Jonah Hill plays Belfort’s close friend and business partner who’s persuaded by Belfort to quit his job in the furniture business to jump into volatile world of stocks. Matthew McConaughey’s character, Mark Hanna, is the early boss and mentor of Belfort. Jean Dujardin portrays Jean-Jacques Handali, a suave Swiss banker involved in laundering illicit funds for the protagonists firm. Margot Robbie is playing the films female lead, Nadine, the wife of Belfort, while Jon Bernthal is playing a drug dealer and money launderer.

These two new behind-the-scenes featurettes have arrived online for Carl Rinsch’s ’47 Ronin.’ Penciled in for December 26th, the film stars Keanu Reeves, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kou Shibasaki, Tadanobu Asano and Rinko Kikuchi. Reeves leads the cast as Kai, an outcast who joins Oishi (Sanada), the leader of the 47 Ronin. Together they seek vengeance upon the treacherous overlord who killed their master and banished their kind. To restore honor to their homeland, the warriors embark upon a quest that challenges them with a series of trials that would destroy ordinary warriors.

Magnet Releasing has debuted this new trailer for the Elijah Wood-starring thriller ‘Grand Piano.’ Set for March 7th, Wood plays Tom Selznick, the most talented pianist of his generation, who has stopped performing in public because of his stage fright. Years after a catastrophic performance, he reappears in public for a long awaited concert in Chicago.
