Three New Clips From ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’

Lionsgate has set loose these three new clips from Kirk Jones’ upcoming adaptation of the bestselling pregnancy instructional book of the same name, ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting.’ The film is described as a modern look at love through the eyes of four interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby. The ensemble cast features Elizabeth Banks, Rob Heubel, Anna Kendrick, Cameron Diaz, Dennis Quaid, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock, Chace Crawford, Matthew Morrison, Cheryl Cole, Brooklyn Decker, Genesis Rodriguez, Thomas Lennon, and Wendy McLendon-Covey. ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ is scheduled for release May 18th in the US and May 23rd in the UK. New International TV Spot For ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’

Introduced by Byung-hun Lee and featuring an outro by Bruce Willis, Paramount Pictures has released this new Japanese TV spot for ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation.’ Expect cheesy one-liners and action in abundance when ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ is unleashed upon cinemas June 29th in the US and June 22nd in the UK. Channing Tatum (Duke), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), and Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow) are reprising their roles from the first film. While the likes of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (Roadblock), Adrianne Palicki (Lady Jaye), RZA (Blind Master), D.J. Cotrona (Flint), Joseph Mazzello (Mouse), Walton Goggins (Warden Nigel James), Elodie Yung (Jinx), and Bruce Willis (General Joe Colton) are all joining the sequel. The film is directed by Jon Chu (Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, Step Up 2: The Streets).
A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with HASBRO and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe(R) characters.
Debut Clip From ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ Features Kristen Stewart In The Dark Forest

With the films release less than a month away, Universal Pictures has let out the hatch this first fantastical clip from Rupert Sanders’ ‘Snow White and The Huntsman.’ ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ is a re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, it features an expanded role for the part of the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth). In the original version he is ordered to take Snow White (Kristen Stewart) into the woods and kill her, but instead lets her go. In this new take the Huntsman serves as Snow White’s mentor, teaching Snow White to fight and survive against the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron). Alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, the film also stars Sam Claflin, Noah Huntley, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Steven Graham, and Nick Frost. ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ arrives in cinemas June 1st.

Red Band Trailer For ‘The Watch’ – Starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill & Richard Ayoade

20th Century Fox has set loose, via IGN, this new red band trailer for Akiva Schaffer’s (Lonely Island member, ‘Hot Rod’ director) upcoming sci-fi comedy ‘The Watch.’ Formerly titled ‘Neighborhood Watch,’ the film stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade as a group of suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group to get time away from their families, only to end up stumbling upon an alien plot to destroy the world. Scheduled for cinemas July 27th in the US and August 22nd in the UK, ‘The Watch’ co-stars Billy Crudup, Will Forte, Nicholas Braun, Rosemarie DeWitt, Joe Nunez, Patricia French and Erin Moriarty. ‘The Watch’ is firmly cemented as one of most anticipated comedies of 2012, fingers crossed it’s a good’n!

Three New TV Spots For Oren Peli’s (Paranormal Activity) ‘Chernobyl Diaries’

Featuring a hefty amount of new footage, Film Nation has released these three TV spots for their upcoming horror-survival flick ’Chernobyl Diaries.’ Directed by Brad Parker, and co-produced/co-written by Oren Peli, the film is set in the city of Prypiat, which once housed the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. The film follows a group of friends who, while vacationing in Europe, find themselves stranded in the abandoned city only to discover that they are not alone. Oren Peli wrote and directed ‘Paranormal Activity,’ which launched a hugely successful franchise, grossing more than $576 million worldwide from three installments to date. ’Chernobyl Diaries’ stars Jonathan Sadowski, Devin Kelley, Jesse McCartney, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips, Ingrid Bolso Berdal and Dimitry Diatchenko. Look out for the film in cinemas May 25th in the US and June 22nd in the UK.

After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone…
Debut Trailer For ‘End of Watch’ – Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña & Anna Kendrick

Yahoo! Movies has premiered this debut trailer for David Ayer’s forthcoming gritty crime-drama, ‘End of Watch.’ Starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña, Anna Kendrick, Frank Gillo and America Ferrera, the film is described as a powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage. In the film, Gyllenhaal and Peña star as two young police officers in the LAPD who patrol the city’s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. ‘End of Watch’ is from South Central-born, writer-director-producer David Ayer, who was the screenwriter of ‘Training Day,’ ‘The Fast and the Furious,’ and ‘S.W.A.T.’ He also wrote and directed ‘Harsh Times’ and ‘Street Kings.’ Look out for ‘End of Watch’ from September 28th. I’ve got high hopes for this!
Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city’s darkest, most violent corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.
