New Trailer For ‘Blood’ – Starring Paul Bettany, Mark Strong, Brian Cox & Stephan Graham

Momentum Pictures has revealed, via Empire Magazine, this new trailer for Nick Murphy’s upcoming film, ‘Blood.’ The film’s top-notch cast includes Paul Bettany, Mark Strong, Brian Cox and Stephan Graham. ‘Blood’ is described as a psychological thriller which charts the moral collapse of a close police family.
Two brothers (Bettany and Graham), both cops, are smothered by the shadow of their former police chief father (Cox). Unspoken secrets and unvoiced suspicions drive the ominous suspense as the brothers spiral into an obsessive confrontation between crimes of the present and crimes of the past. The film was produced by Pippa Harris (Revolutionary Road, The Kite Runner, Jarhead), the BBC, and executive produced by Academy Award winner Sam Mendes. ‘Blood’ is set for May 31st in the UK. Expect an announcement for the film’s international release schedule shortly.

The Huffington Post has revealed this latest one-sheet for Summit Entertainment’s ’Red 2.’ Arriving in cinemas from July 19th in the US and August 2nd in the UK, the sequel stars Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-Hun Lee, Brian Cox, and Neal McDonough.
Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) is taking over directional duties on ‘Red 2,′ from a screenplay by Erich and Jon Hoeber - who wrote the script for the first installment, based in turn on a comic book by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer. Robert Schwentke, the helmer of ‘Red,’ is hard at work finishing his Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges-starring comic adaptation ‘R.I.P.D.,’ which is also released this summer.
