THE AVENGERS
Robert Downey Jr. on Iron Man: “Tony Stark is open to all possibilities and has no problem accepting extraordinary happennings. Joining The Avengers team is an act of curiosity – he wants to see what’s happening first-hand. He realized a while ago that he’s not an island and this time around he is beginning to understand that it’s about a group mindsent and that ‘we’ is better than ‘I.’”
Chris Evans on Captain America: “Big parts of Steve Rogers are his good nature, high morals and strong values. Those morals and values were created in a time when people treated each other differently. The level of interaction was a bit deeper. Everything feels one step apart with all of the technology we have now. A lot of the things that he believed in, stood for and loved have changed. They’re not gone – they’re just different. He’s trying to find his footing in a modern world.”

Mar 31st
Providing us with some insight into Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen, Universal Pictures has set loose this behind-the-scenes “Death In The Throne Room” featurette for Rupert Sanders’ fairy tale re-imagining ‘Snow White and The Huntsman.’ ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ is a re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, it features an expanded role for the part of the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth). In the original version he is ordered to take Snow White (Kristen Stewart) into the woods and kill her, but instead lets her go. In this new take the Huntsman serves as Snow White’s mentor, teaching Snow White to fight and survive against the evil queen (Charlize Theron). Alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, the film also stars Sam Claflin, Noah Huntley, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Steven Graham and Nick Frost. ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ is scheduled for a June 1st release.
In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power. Three New Images From ‘The Cabin in the Woods’
Mar 29th
Lionsgate has let out the hatch these three new images from Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon’s high-concept horror ‘The Cabin in the Woods.’ Directed by Goddard, who co-wrote with Whedon, the film is said to be a spin on the familiar “cabin in the woods” formula. Set for release April 13th, ‘The Cabin in the Woods’ stars Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Jesse Williams, Fran Kranz, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison and Amy Acker. Lionsgate made a deal with MGM to distribute ‘The Cabin in the Woods’ last summer, putting an end to an unexpectedly long shelf life for a horror film that has such a terrific creative pedigree in Drew Goddard and Josh Whedon. I for one am stoked for this flick….roll on April.
Five friends go to a remote cabin in the woods. Bad things happen. If you think you know this story, think again. From fan favorites Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard comes THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, a mind blowing horror film that turns the genre inside out. Produced by Whedon and directed by Goddard from a script by both, the film stars Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford.
