I’ve made it no secret how much I’m looking forward to this, it looks like a heap of fun. My friend said the comic is great as well, I’m fully on board with this now. I’ve always been a sucker for stylised action films (that don’t take themselves too seriously!). The only negative thing I can say is that the clip shows a bit too much for me, but what it showed, looked a whole lot better than the A Team film!! This is out on the 23rd in the US and late May in the UK.

Sylvain White directed the film from a screenplay by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt, based upon the comic book series written by Andy Diggle, illustrated by Jock and published by DC Comics/Vertigo. “The Losers” is produced by Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster, with Steve Richards, Andrew Rona, Sarah Aubrey and Stuart Besser serving as executive producers and Richard Mirisch co-producing.

Another poster for The Loser’s has hit online, I really really like the looks of this. I’ve always liked a good light hearted, stylised action film that doesn’t take itself to seriously. This Poster just adds to my interest, I like the concept, it looks very comic bookish if that’s a word, I like that. I hope this doesn’t dissapoint!

I really like the looks of this, I was very impressed and surprised by the trailer, I’ve always liked a good light hearted, stylised action film that doesn’t take itself to seriously. It does look a bit like an updated version of the A Team but for me I was far more impressed by The Losers trailer than The A Team trailer. This TV Spot just adds to my interest. It looks very comic bookish if that’s a word, I like that

There’s an onslaught of action movies coming out in 2010 – The Expendables, The A Team, Prince Of Persia, Clash Of The Titans and From Paris With Love amongst a whole host of others. Due to the potential overdose of action films this year I hadn’t kept much attention to Losers, yet after watching the trailer, it’s official, I AM SOLD, it looks a lot of fun, the cast looks great as well. Below are some new images from Sylvain White’s film adaptation of the Vertigo label comic book ‘The Losers’ which stars Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Columbus Short and Jason Patric. I really hope this is more Sin City than The Spirit (it was extraordinarily bad). Syvain White’s last film Stomp The Yard was a bit cliche for me, I really hope this add’s something to the ever growing number of Comic  adapted film’s.
