Through the history of cinema no sub genre has been rinsed more than Vampire films. Lately they have been bastardized by some poor Films, TV shows(Buffy The Vampire) and the extremely gay Twilight. Just as soon as I totally lose faith I can thank the vampire heavens for Daybreaker! Daybreaker looks like the first vampire film in a long time that has a badass and inventive concept. The concept behind Daybreakers is similar to the book I Am Legend (not the movie with Will Smith that was some watered down BS if you’ve read the book). Edward Dalton is a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out.
