New Prince Of Persia Trailer

Prince of Persia 7 900x5901 New Prince Of Persia Trailer

Disney have got a very big year in films in 2010 with Alice In Wonderland, Toy Story 3, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Tron Legacy and this. I’m slowly warming to this the more that I see from it, I’ve always liked Jake Gylanhaal, it’s good to see him do something more action packed, from the trailer he looks like he spends much of the movie jumping around like coked up Kangaroo(nothing wrong with that!). I’m also looking forward to it for Toby Kebbell and Gemma Arterton two of the UK’s best young talents. They should have cast a few more Persians though it looks like a bunch of English people wearing eye liner and dyed black hair, its the 21st century now I should think films can be a bit more realistic. Look’s like a lot of fun though.

From the team that brought the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia.  A rogue prince (JAKE GYLLENHAAL) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (GEMMA ARTERTON) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

Prince Of Persia And Alice In Wonderland Super Bowl TV Spot’s

disney prince of persia alice in wonderland Prince Of Persia And Alice In Wonderland Super Bowl TV Spots

Disney unveiled new TV Spot’s for Alice In Wonderland and Prince Perisa last night during the Super Bowl, which was seen by over 100 million people worldwide, so you know they paid some $$$$ for ad space! I’ve got mild interest in both of these, I’ve been a bit underwhelmed by some of Tim Burton’s latest work (Sweeney Todd, Charley and the Chocolate Factory, Planet Of The Apes). I’ve got no doubts it will be visually stunning, the cast is great as well (who doesn’t like Stephen Fry), hopefully it will be a return to form. The Prince Of Persia film does look like a lot of fun, I just hope it’s not a complete cgi fest, the TV spot slightly increased my interest. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Trailer

nic cage the sorcerers apprentice The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Trailer

A movie with Nicolas Cage doesn’t repell me as much as it used to after watching his amazing performance in The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans, this actually looks like a good bit of popcorn fun. I think Toby Kebbell is one of the best young actors around as well so I look forward to seeing him in this. Check out the trailer below

Loosely adapted from the classic story from Fantasia, and based in modern-day Manhattan, Nicolas Cage plays Balthazar Blake, a sorcerer who recruits and trains a young protege (Jay Baruchel) to help fight the forces of darkness. Celebrity illusionist Drake Stone (Toby Kebbell) joins forces with an evil sorcerer named Horvath (Alfred Molina), to “gain ultimate powers.” The film, also features Teresa Palmer (Bedtime Stories) as Baruchel’s love interest and Monica Bellucci (Passion of the Christ, The Matrix Reloaded and my favorite MILF!) as Veronica, a sorceress and the long-lost love of Cage’s character. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is set to hit theaters on July 16th 2010.
