Closely following the release of the teaser trailer for ‘Frozen,’ Walt Disney Pictures has revealed this poster for their 53rd full-length animated flick. Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad and Idina Menzel, ‘Frozen’ journeys into theaters on November 27th in the US and December 6th in the UK. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck direct the 3-D musical adventure, while Tony-award winner Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez wrote the music.
Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad and Idina Menzel, ‘Frozen’ journeys into theaters November 27th. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck direct the 3-D musical adventure, while Tony-award winner Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez wrote the music.

Disney Announces Release Dates For ‘Pirates of the Carribean 5,’ Brad Bird’s ’1952′ & ‘The Muppets 2′

Closely following the news that Walt Disney Pictures has pegged Jeff Nathanson (Catch Me if You Can) to pen ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5,’ the studio has now announced new release dates for a number of films on their upcoming slate. First up, on the topic of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5,’ Disney has set a July 10th, 2015 date for the film. While Jerry Bruckheimer is again producing, with Johnny Depp set to return as Captain Jack Sparrow, plot details are currently being kept under lock and key. Furthermore, it’s not clear whether actors from past installments, such as Geoffrey Rush or Penelope Cruz, would return to reprise their roles. The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise has grossed more than $3.5 billion worldwide with the 2011 ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ grossing more than $1 billion worldwide.
Secondly, ‘The Muppets 2′ has been pencilled in for March 21st, 2014. Unofficial reports have Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell attached to play the three human leads. James Bobin, who helmed the 2011 ‘Muppets’ film, is returning to direct the follow-up and co-wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller. ‘The Muppets’ grossed $158 million worldwide and relaunched the long-running Jim Henson-created franchise for the studio. It starred and was co-written by Jason Segel, but he is not returning for the sequel.
