The five newcomers who play the hooded heroes are John Boyega, Simon Howard, Franz Drameh, Leeon Jones, and Alex Esmail. Jodie Whittaker, Luke Treadaway and Nick Frost also star. The film is set to hit cinemas May 11th – I’m there!
Attack the Block’ is a fast, funny, frightening action adventure movie that pits a teen gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters. It turns a London housing estate into a sci-fi playground. A tower block into a fortress under siege. And teenage street kids into heroes. It’s inner city versus outer space.

Christoph Waltz As Chudnofsky Featurette For ‘The Green Hornet’
Jan 8th
You wanna know the prime reason I’m excited about ‘The Green Hornet?’ The film stars Oscar winner Christoph Waltz as the lead villain, more importantly to my manly sensibility’s, he’s sporting an epic beard and running around with a double-barreled hand gun….I’m in! The Green Hornet comes to cinemas January 14th, 2011 and stars Waltz, Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Edward Furlong, Edward James Olmos, Tom Wilkinson, and Sterling Cooper.
Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the son of LA’s most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene – until his father (Tom Wilkinson) mysteriously dies, leaving Britt his vast media empire. Striking an unlikely friendship with one of his father’s more industrious and inventive employees, Kato (Jay Chou), they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives: fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves – protecting the law by breaking it, Britt becomes the vigilante The Green Hornet as he and Kato hit the streets.
Using all his ingenuity and skill, Kato builds the ultimate in advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower. Rolling in a mobile fortress on wheels and striking the bad guys with Kato’s clever gadgets, The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld: Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz). But Chudnofsky has plans of his own: to swat down The Green Hornet once and for all.
New Tron: Legacy Featurette Giving Us A Closer Look At Clu & Jeff Flynn – Played By Jeff Bridges
Dec 1st
My excitement meter is officially set to ‘squeal like a Japanese schoolgirl’ for this film. With just over two weeks away from the movies release Walt Disney Pictures have rolled out a new featurette for Tron: Legacy giving us a closer look at Flynn/Clu.
Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.”Tron Legacy” is directed by Joseph Kosinski and is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17th in 3D.
Two New Character Posters For ‘Little Fockers’ – Featuring Robert De Niro & Ben Stiller
Oct 25th
Yahoo! Movies have got their hands on two surprisingly humorous character posters for Little Fockers. I say surprisingly because everything I’ve seen from this film up until now has been crap on a stick. You never know though, the cast is top-notch – Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Jessica Alba, Laura Dern, Harvey Keitel, Teri Polo and Barbra Streisand.
The test of wills between Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) and Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) escalates to new heights of comedy in the third installment of the blockbuster series—Little Fockers. Laura Dern, Jessica Alba and Harvey Keitel join the returning all-star cast for a new chapter of the worldwide hit franchise. It has taken 10 years, two little Fockers with wife Pam (Polo) and countless hurdles for Greg to finally get “in” with his tightly wound father-in-law, Jack. After the cash-strapped dad takes a job moonlighting for a drug company, however, Jack’s suspicions about his favorite male nurse come roaring back. When Greg and Pam’s entire clan—including Pam’s lovelorn ex, Kevin (Owen Wilson)—descends for the twins’ birthday party, Greg must prove to the skeptical Jack that he’s fully capable as the man of the house. But with all the misunderstandings, spying and covert missions, will Greg pass Jack’s final test and become the family’s next patriarch…or will the circle of trust be broken for good?
New Featurette For Little Fockers – Starring Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller & Jessica Alba

A new behind the scenes look at ‘Little Fockers’ has been released online giving us an overview of the trilogy and featuring interviews with the cast. To be frank I’ve got a sneaky feeling that this film will be a bit of a turd. The joke that the ‘Fockers’ surname is one letter away from a swear word has already gone to the redundant school of redundancy for the chronically redundant. You never know though, I had a blast with the first film and the cast is strong, hopefully my reservations are unfounded……hopefully! Little Fockers is in cinemas December 22nd.
