New Trailer For ‘The Rite’ – Starring Anthony Hopkins, Colin O’Donoghue & Alice Braga
Dec 10th
This intense and super creepy trailer has been release online for ‘The Rite.’ The trailer does it’s job by grabbing my interest, yet for me it showed WAAAAAAAAAY too much of the story – a severe case of showingtoomuchitus has been diagnosed! ‘The Rite’ is directed by Mikael Hafstrom (1408, Drowning Ghost, Derailed) and stars Anthony Hopkins, Colin O’Donoghue, Alice Braga, Ciaran Hinds, and Toby Jones. The Rite will hit cinemas January 28th, 2011.
Inspired by true events, “The Rite” follows skeptical seminary student Michael Kovak (Colin O’Donoghue), who reluctantly attends exorcism school at the Vatican. While in Rome, he meets an unorthodox priest, Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins), who introduces him to the darker side of his faith. Directed by Mikael Hafstroem (“1408″), “The Rite” is a supernatural thriller that uncovers the devil’s reach to even one of the holiest places on Earth.

Dec 10th
By the beard of Zeus, by the surly beard of Mfrik, by the hammer of Thor- the debut poster for Marvel’s ‘Thor’ has made it’s way online courtesy of Yahoo. Marvel look like they’re going all out it with this flick, it looks immensely ambitious. That’s most likely the reason I’m pretty skeptimistic. It could either be completely awesome, or it could be ludicrous. With the release of the trailer Friday evening, hopefully my skeptimisticness (yes I know it’s not a word) can turn into just plain ordinary optimism.
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. Those consistent scoopmeisters over at The Hollywood Reporter have revealed that Carey Mulligan and James Badge Dale have officially joined the cast of Steve McQueen’s ‘Shame.’ The pair will co-star alongside Michael Fassbender – who previously starred in McQueen’s unflinching and powerful debut film ‘Hunger.’

‘Shame’ is planned for a six week shoot to start in January, following on from Fassbender’s work on X-Men: First Class. The film revolves around Fassbender’s character Brandon, a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. The film is said to be an examination of the nature of need, how we live our lives and the experiences that shape us.

Below is new International trailer for ‘The Mechanic,’ which stars Jason Statham – the reigning king of kick assery and successor to Chuck Norris for the “manliest man in the world” title – alongside the criminally underused and always great Ben Foster. The film is a remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson flick of the same name. The Mechanic comes to cinemas January 28th, 2011 and stars Statham, Foster, Donald Sutherland, Jeff Chase, Christa Campbell, Liam Ferguson, Eddie J. Fernandez and J.D. Evermore.

It’s a job that requires professional perfection and total detachment, and Bishop is the best in the business. But when his mentor and close friend Harry (Donald Sutherland) is murdered, Bishop is anything but detached. His next assignment is self-imposed – he wants those responsible dead.
His mission grows complicated when Harry’s son Steve (Ben Foster) approaches him with the same vengeful goal and a determination to learn Bishop’s trade. Bishop has always acted alone but he can’t turn his back on Harry’s son. A methodical hit man takes an impulsive student deep into his world and a deadly partnership is born. But while in pursuit of their ultimate mark, deceptions threaten to surface and those hired to fix problems become problems themselves.
