According to The Wrap, Paddy Considine and Fares Fares are in negotiations to join Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and Gary Oldman in ‘Child 44,’ a Soviet-era thriller being produced by Ridley Scott and Michael Costigan. ‘The Killing’ star Joel Kinnaman was previously reported to be in negotiations as well.
Paddy Considine, who co-starred in ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’ and ‘Cinderella Man’ for Universal Pictures, will soon be seen in the studio’s upcoming comedy ‘The World’s End,’ which reunites him with his ‘Hot Fuzz’ co-stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, as well as director Edgar Wright. Fares Fares, who previously worked with Joel Kinnaman on ‘Safe House’ and the ‘Snabba Cash’ films, is best known for his key supporting role in Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Zero Dark Thirty.’

Variety bring word that Jocko Sims has joined the cast of Matt Reeves’ upcoming ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ sequel, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.’ While plot details are few and far between, Sims will reportedly portray the supporting role of “military operative Werner.”
Andy Serkis, celebrated for his performance in the last film, reprises his role as Caesar in ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.’ The sequel also stars Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo and Judy Greer. Composer Michael Giacchino has revealed through his Twitter account that he’ll be providing the score for Matt Reeves’ upcoming ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ sequel, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.’ Giacchino previously worked with Reeves on the director’s past two films, ‘Let Me In’ and ‘Cloverfield.’ Patrick Doyle provided the score for Rupert Wyatt’s ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes.’
