Geekgasm alert - Warner Bros. have kindly liberated these two posters and the four minutes of footage from Martin Campbell’s ‘Green Lantern’ which premiered last night at WonderCon. I really like what I see, the film looks incredibly ambitious. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, and Tim Robbins.
Bringing the enduringly popular superhero to the big screen for the first time, “Green Lantern” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”). In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. This new image has been released online thorough CineHeroes showcasing both Ryan Reynolds and Peter Sarsgaard as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern and Hector Hammond respectively. Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern is one of my most anticipated blockbusters of 2011, the film look’s incredibly ambitious. The movie is set to hit cinemas the 17th of June…..I for one am stoked! *Update: I just realised Tim Robbins is lingering in the background – I’m blind!*

Entertainment Tonight have finally debuted the first full teaser trailer for Martin Campbell’s Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern. I really like what I see, the film look’s incredibly ambitious and Ryan Reynolds seems to be perfect in the role. The flick also features a fine supporting cast in Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, and Tim Robbins.

To wet our appetite for Tuesday’s premiere of the Green lantern trailer, Entertainment Tonight have released this 30 second preview clip to give us a little tease for what we’re in for. I’m stoked for this, I really like Ryan Reynolds, which when you consider my extreme jealousy towards him due to his marriage to Scarlett Johansson is quite an achievement! Debut Character Posters For Green Lantern – Starring Ryan Reynolds, Mark Strong & Peter Sarsgaard

Warner Bros. have released the first promo art for the Green Lantern, giving us our first look at Hollywood’s current rent a villain Mark Strong as Sinestro and Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond. I’m cautiously anticipating this film, I really like the cast and I generally like Director Martin Campbell’s films, I’ve just never been much of a Green Lantern fan, these posters havn’t exactly given me a sensory overload either. Ryan Reynolds ‘Sort Of’ In Costume At The Green Lantern Set

MTV have got their teen brainwashing hands on the first image of Ryan Reynolds in CG costume for Green Lantern. The costume will be almost entirely computer generated (which is the reason for him looking like a grey ballet dancer), this probably means we won’t get our first official look of the suit until sometime next year. I’m actually looking forward to this, I really like Ryan Reynolds, which when considering my extreme jealousy of him due to his marriage to Scarlett Johansson is quite an achievement. Green Lantern is set to hit cinemas June , 2011.
