New ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Viral Document Teases “Operation Early Bird”

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s two viral documents for Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ @TheFireRises has released this third, teasing an event called “Operation Early Bird” – which is set to take place tomorrow at 10am PST (6pm GMT). The viral document contiunes the angle of Alon Abutbul’s “mad scientist” character, Dr. Leonid Pavel. With the release of the first full-length trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ later this month, it’s likely that these documents are just the first steps in a much larger viral campaign.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart, Christopher Judge, Adam Rodriguez and Rob Brown. The plot for the film is being kept securely under lock and key. Judging by the teaser and the previous two films I’d expect something E P I C. The filming locations for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ have spanned three continents and include the American cities of Pittsburgh, New York and Los Angeles, as well as sites in India, England and Scotland. ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ the eagerly anticipated epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend, is scheduled for release on July 20th 2012.

Wired and Empire have released these two viral documents for Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises. The “CIA Bulletin” features information on a “Dr. Leonid Pavel (Alon Abutbul),” a Russian scientist of some type, who I assume has something to do with Bane and the doomsday device he threatens Gotham City with in the film. Warner Bros. Release An Official List Of IMAX Cinemas Showing The Six-Minute ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Prologue

Warner Bros. Pictures has distributed the following press release regarding the six-minute prologue for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that will be playing in front of ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ IMAX screenings. The Prologue will be released in North America December 16th, and in the UK December 21st. Additional international dates vary by territory and will be announced soon.

The film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg and Colm Feore. Look out for Thor swinging his hefty hammer at a cinema in both 2D and 3D April 29th 2011 in the UK, and May 6th 2011 in the US.

Inception IMAX Experience TV Spot

I’m so psyched, a thought provoking film that will grab you by your eye balls. Inception is gearing up to be the foremost cinematic experience of 2010. Early reviews from the states have been glowing. Screendaily have reported, ‘the applause after the screening was very hearty and ScreenDaily overheard quite a few ‘brilliant’ comments’. The Rolling Stone’s review also gives Inception two big thumbs up.
