New Knight And Day International Poster & Clip
Jun 25th
Those cheeky buggers over in the US already have Knight And Day showing in cinemas, internationally we have to wait a couple more weeks. To keep us ‘international’ folk engaged, 20th Century Fox have released these two posters and a teaser clip, which you can feast your eyes on below. For me this looks like it could be good popcorn fun. I’m not the biggest Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz fan to be perfectly honest, I’m an admirer of director James Mangold though, he’s made some fantastic films over the last few years (Walk The Line & 3:10 To Yuma), hopefully Knight And Day carries on that tradition.
Reuniting Hollywood superstars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, Twentieth Century Fox will release the high-octane summer blockbuster KNIGHT AND DAY on Wednesday August 6th, 2010. The all-star cast is rounded out with Peter Sarsgaard, Maggie Grace, Paul Dano, Marc Blucas, Viola Davis, Jordi Mollà and the film, which was shot in locations all over the world, is directed by James Mangold.
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz star in the action-comedy KNIGHT AND DAY. During their glamorous,
globetrotting and sometimes deadly adventure, nothing and no one – even the now fugitive couple – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the world with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust. Directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line, Girl, Interrupted), KNIGHT AND DAY stars Tom Cruise (Mission Impossible franchise, Tropic Thunder, Jerry Maguire) and Cameron Diaz (Charlie’s Angels franchise, There’s Something About Mary,), alongside Peter Sarsgaard (An Education, Orphan), Maggie Grace (TV series ‘Lost’, Taken), Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Little Miss Sunshine), Marc Blucas (Meet Dave, First Daughter), Viola Davis (Law Abiding Citizen, State of Play) and Jordi Mollà (Che Part 2, Bad Boys
Clash Of The Titans International Trailer
Feb 2nd
This gets two thumbs up from me, Liam Neeson is Zeus nuff said. Originally scheduled for a late March release, this may be getting pushed back until April due to Warner Brothers considering converting it to 3D. This trailer adds a bit more dialogue than the first two teaser trailers which were completely visually driven.
Avatar Set To Become The Biggest Box Office Hit Of All Time
Jan 24th
Avatar is raking it in, last Saturday it sealed it’s place in the record books as the highest grossing film of all time at the international box office with a grand total of $1.288bn (Titanic’s International Box Office receipt is $1.242), it has now grossed more than $100m for the sixth consecutive weekend internationally. It is also creeping up on Titanic’s domestic (US) Box Office record of $600.8m with $552.8m. I don’t think anyone expected it to make this much money, I thought it would be a huge success but damn, that is a lot of 0′s and $’s.
