On Location Vacations, Newscom and The Lo-Down have premiered these new looks at Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy on the Chinatown, New York set of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2.’ Alongside Garfield and Stone, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ stars Jamie Foxx (Max Dillon/Electro), Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborne), Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti (Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino), Chris Cooper (Norman Osborne) Felicity Jones and Sally Field (May Parker). In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2,’ for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Emma Stone shed some light on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ in a recent interview with Cineplex Magazine (via CBM), praising the film’s script and teasing some more heroic antics from Gwen Stacey’s ac in the sequel. “I’m in it, Andrew is in it. They just cast Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, who is such a great actor, I think that will be wonderful. And Shaeline Woodley as Mary Jane, who’s also wonderful. So there’s all that, and the script is very, very good. I’m very much looking forward to it.” Stone continued, “I’m very happy the way our first one was received so well. It’ll be cool on the next one to see how Gwen and Peter bridge that distance that was between us at the end of it. I think it all unfolds pretty neat. And I hope they continue letting Gwen be heroic. I think they might!”

Chris Cooper To Play Norman Osborne In ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′

With filming on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2′ now underway in New York, Variety report that Oscar-winner Chris Cooper has rounded out the cast of the film as Norman Osborn. The character was played by Willem Dafoe in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, and in comics lore he becomes the villain Green Goblin – one of Spider-Man’s greatest foes. Cooper joins the likes of Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Jamie Foxx (Max Dillon/Electro), Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborne – Norman Osborne’s son), Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti (Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino), Felicity Jones and Sally Field (May Parker). It is unclear whether Cooper will make his villainous turn in this film or in a sequel. Osborn starts out as a mentor to the superhero before turning bad.
