New Poster For DreamWorks ‘Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom’

DreamWorks have just unveiled this new poster for Kung Fu Panda 2 via IMP. I’ve got high hopes for this, the first film was witty, visually stimulating and from start to finish a heap of fun. Hopefully the sequel follows on from the first, the voice cast assembled is top notch – Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Dustin Hoffman, Gary Oldman, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Michelle Yeoh and Vincent Garber. Kung Fu Panda 2 is set for release May 27th, 2011.
Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five – Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu.
It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.
New Gulliver’s Travels Trailer – Starring Jack Black, Emily Blunt & Jason Segal

Holy mother this looks so bad! 20th Century Fox have released this new trailer for the Jack Black starring, holiday season comedy ‘Gulliver’s Travels’. The trailer suffers from a severe case of showingtoomuchitus, and is pretty much void of funny. For the most part I do like Jack Black though, 60% of the time he cracks me up, 40% of the time he annoys the hell out of me (see Year One). So far I’m not enticed.
Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer, while on assignment in the Bermuda Triangle, finds himself washed ashore on the hidden island of Liliput. Jack Black stars as the titular character with a supporting cast of Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, and Chris O’Dowd. Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens) directs from a script by Joe Stillman (Shrek 2) and Nicholas Stoller (Get Him to the Greek). Gulliver’s Travels is slated to hit cinemas in 3D on December 22, 2010.

By Zeus’ beard WTF has happened to Jack Black’s face!!! He looks like he’s been photo-shopped into botox heaven……To be honest I know very little about the Gulliver’s Travels stories, I never read the a novels as a kid or even watched the television series in the mid 90′s. I like Jack Black though, 90% of the time he cracks me up, 10% of the time he annoys the hell out of me – see Year One. This poster doesn’t exactly entice me, hopefully the poster is a bit better.
