20th Century Fox are feeling generous and have released online the first two minutes (via MSN) from the upcoming 3-D animated family comedy ‘Rio.’ The film features the bumper voice cast of Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, George Lopez, Jemaine Clement, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Mann, will.i.am, and Jamie Foxx. Look out for this in cinemas April 2011, from this clip it looks like a bunch of fun!
RIO is a 3-D animation feature from the makers of the “Ice Age” films. Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there’s another – and that she’s a she – he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. But it’s far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. ‘30 Minutes or Less’ is the new action/comedy from Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer. The film centres on “two wannabe criminals who force a loser pizza delivery man to rob a bank in 30 minutes or less.” 30 Minutes or Less re-teams Fleischer and Jesse Eisenberg who previously joined forces for the thoroughly entertaining Zombieland. 30 Minutes or Less is set for release August 12th and stars Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, Nick Swardson and Michael Peña. I expect a top shelf action/comedy!
In the action-comedy 30 Minutes or Less, Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The volatile duo kidnaps Nick and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship.

A new clip has been released online for David Fincher’s The Social Network. Early reviews for the film have been absolutely fantastic, it’s said to be a compelling, intelligent and moody drama. Oscar buzz has already started whipping up around the film. As a huge David Fincher I was already anticipating this, yet now after seeing all these great reviews my anticipation levels have gone through the roof! For those that don’t know The Social Network is based on the Ben Mezrich novel “The Accidental Billionaires,” focusing on the evolution of Facebook from its 2004 creation on the Harvard campus by sophomore Mark Zuckerberg to a juggernaut with more than 500 million members.

Jesse Eisenberg will play Facebook CEO Zuckerberg, while Justin Timberlake will play Sean Parker, the Napster co-founder who became Facebook’s founding president; and Andrew Garfield will play Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money.

Columbia Pictures have released the second international trailer for David Fincher’s The Social Network. I’m a huge David Fincher fan so this already has my money, I fully expect this to be a compelling, intelligent and moody drama. Early reviews have been fantastic. The inception of Facebook – the hotbed of catching up with friends and procrastination shown on the big screen, I never thought I’d be this excited to see it! The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara, Rashida Jones, Max Minghella, Dakota Johnson, Brenda Song and Joseph Mazzello.

I’m a huge David Fincher fan so this already has my money, I fully expect this to be a compelling, intelligent and moody drama.
