New International Poster For ’21 Jump Street’ – Starring Jonah Hill & Channing Tatum
Jan 30th
Columbia Pictures has released this Australian poster for the Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum starring comedy caper ’21 Jump Street.’ Whilst this poster is slightly terrible (“slightly” meaning “particularly”), I’m extremely optimistic about the actual film – its red band trailer cracked me up. Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs), ’21 Jump Street’ is a remake of the 1980′s Television Series of the same name. The film follows an undercover police unit consisting of young looking officers (Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum) who infiltrate high schools to control youth crime. The likes of Brie Larson, Rob Riggle, DeRay Davis, Dave Franco, Jake Johnson, Johnny Simmons, Johnny Pemberton, Dakota Johnson, Ellie Kemper and Ice Cube co-star. ’21 Jump Street’ is released in cinemas March 16th.
In the action-comedy 21 Jump Street, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are more than ready to leave their adolescent problems behind. Joining the police force and the secret Jump Street unit, they use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school. As they trade in their guns and badges for backpacks, Schmidt and Jenko risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring. But they find that high school is nothing like they left it just a few years earlier – and neither expects that they will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind.

When the world’s most irresponsible babysitter takes three of the world’s worst kids on an unforgettable overnight adventure through the streets of New York City, it’s anyone’s guess who’s going to make it home in one piece. THE SITTER is a new level of twisted and debauched hilarity from the director of Pineapple Express, starring Superbad’s Jonah Hill.

Five New ‘Moneyball’ TV Spots – Starring Brad Pitt, Phillip Seymour Hoffman & Jonah Hill
Sep 16th

Equipped with plenty of new footage, Columbia Pictures have let out the hatch these five new TV spots for ‘Moneyball.’ The film stars Brad Pitt as Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland Athletics and follows his attempt to create a competitive team despite Oakland’s unfavourable financial situation. ‘Moneyball’ is based on the highly acclaimed 2003 book of the same name by Michael M. Lewis. Alongside Brad Pitt the film stars Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Art Howe, manager of the A’s, Jonah Hill, as Peter Brand, Beane’s assistant general manager, Robin Wright, Stephen Bishop, Kathryn Morris, and Chris Pratt. Bennett Miller (Capote) directs the movie from a script by Aaron Sorkin and Steven Zaillian. ‘Moneyball’ is released in cinemas September 23rd in the US, and November 4th in the UK. Check out my interview with Brad Pitt for the film here, and Jonah Hill here.
Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland A’s and the guy who assembles the team, who has an epiphany: all of baseball’s conventional wisdom is wrong. Forced to reinvent his team on a tight budget, Beane will have to outsmart the richer clubs. The onetime jock teams with Ivy League grad Peter Brand in an unlikely partnership, recruiting bargain players that the scouts call flawed, but all of whom have an ability to get on base, score runs, and win games. It’s more than baseball, it’s a revolution — one that challenges old school traditions and puts Beane in the crosshairs of those who say he’s tearing out the heart and soul of the game.
Jonah Hill Interview For ‘Moneyball’

Based on a true story, Brad Pitt stars as Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland A’s, whose unorthodox approach to fielding a team had a major impact on the game, discarding baseball’s conventional wisdom. Check out what Jonah Hill had to say about the film below.
Was your character the one you could relate to most in ‘Moneyball’?
Jonah Hill: When I was making the movie I never really related to Brad Pitt’s Billy Beane or my character, I related to Chad Bradford. The scene where he says, ‘No one ever gave me a chance or an opportunity before.’ You know, ‘Superbad’ was the movie why I’m here, Amy and Doug at Sony, and Judd Apatow gave me that opportunity, where I was a very unlikely person at that time to be a star of a big motion picture. Again with this movie, Bennett Miller, Brad Pitt, Amy and Doug….I was a very unconventional person to be in this dramatic movie (laughs). I do feel like I continually get that underdog opportunity – I can’t stop smiling about this film, this movie is constantly inspiring for me.
