First Image Of Emma Watson In ‘My Week With Marilyn’
Dec 10th
The Daily Mail have got their mitts on the first image of Emma Watson in ‘My Week With Marilyn.’ In the film Watson plays Lucy, “a wardrobe assistant working behind the scenes during the making of The Prince And The Showgirl in 1956.”
‘My Week With Marilyn’ is based on the memoir of Colin Clark, who was an assistant to Laurence Olivier on ‘The Prince And The Showgirl,’ and who escorted Marilyn Monroe around Britain after her husband Arthur Miller left the country. The biographical drama is directed by Simon Curtis and stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Julia Ormond, Dougray Scott, Derek Jacobi, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson. Look out for ‘My Week With Marilyn’ late 2011.

By the beard of Zeus, by the surly beard of Mfrik, by the hammer of Thor- the debut poster for Marvel’s ‘Thor’ has made it’s way online courtesy of Yahoo. Marvel look like they’re going all out it with this flick, it looks immensely ambitious. That’s most likely the reason I’m pretty skeptimistic. It could either be completely awesome, or it could be ludicrous. With the release of the trailer Friday evening, hopefully my skeptimisticness (yes I know it’s not a word) can turn into just plain ordinary optimism.

Michelle Williams Talks About Portraying Marilyn Monroe In ‘My Week With Marilyn’ & A New Image To Boot!
Nov 26th
The Daily Mail recently had a chat with Michelle Williams and got their hands on this new image of her portraying Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming film ‘My Week With Marilyn.’ The film is based on the diary of Colin Clark, who worked as Laurence Olivier’s assistant on The Prince And The Showgirl in 1956, and escorted the iconic actress around Britain after her husband, Arthur Miller, left the country.
Williams shed some light on her experience of immersing herself in the character:
‘I feel like we live together,’ the actress said, of portraying the iconic blonde in a new movie My Week With Marilyn that just completed filming at Pinewood Studios.
‘At a certain point, something else does take over. I don’t quite feel myself these days’
She also went on to say that she was initially reluctant to take the part, so much so she originally turned down the offer to play the blonde bombshell.
‘I knew I wouldn’t’ be able to resist, eventually. Physically and vocally, everything about her is different from me. I’ve kind of gone to school and had teachers to help me understand Marilyn, so I could project an essence of her.
‘When I first approached the part, I thought that there were three, even four parts to -Marilyn,’ she continued……There was the public Marilyn — the one Norma Jean would refer to as ‘her’, ‘as in the voluptuous, strike-a-pose “her” ’.
The biographical drama is directed by Simon Curtis and stars Williams as Marilyn Monroe, Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Julia Ormond, Dougray Scott, Derek Jacobi, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson.
Thor Trailer From Comic Con Makes It Was Online

By the beard of Zeus the hammer of Thor- the footage that was shown at Comic Con has now finally hit the internet (I’m pretty sure unofficially). Marvel look like they’re going all out it with this flick, it looks immensely ambitious. That’s probably the reason I’m pretty skeptimistic. It could either be completely awesome, or it could be ludicrous. I like what I see though.
