2 New Kick Ass TV Spot’s
Mar 24th
This has been on my must see for me for a while now, it’s finally being released this Friday. Below are 2 new TV spot’s to wet your appetite, check em out!
Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.
His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) – and forges a friendship with another fledging super hero, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.

A new Red Band Trailer for Kick Ass has been released online, it’s safe to say from watching it I’m sold, it wasn’t much of a doubt from watching the other trailers and clips but this has just cemented it further. The film looks completely nuts!

New Kick Ass Poster And International Trailer
Feb 2nd
You have to be a miserable sod if you don’t like the look of this, a real doom and gloom nay-sayer and negative nancy (if your not fond of blood I pardon you). This looks like so much fun, this is creeping up my list of most anticipated films of 2010. Kick Ass is in cinemas April 2nd
A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. New Kick Ass Empire Magazine Fold Out Cover
Jan 27th
In general I’m not too big on magazine’s, online has completely taken over in my opinion. It’s more up to date, doesn’t have as many restrictions and generally has more character. That being said I’m a massive fan of Empire Magazine, here’s there new fold out Kick-Ass cover.
Inside, we have interviews with all the cast and crew, including Nicolas Cage on the influence of Adam West’s Batman (“That’s Big Daddy’s Jungian muse, to help him accomplish the things he accomplishes”) and Matthew Vaughn on why he originally had Zac Efron in mind for the Red Mist role now occupied by Christopher Mintz-Plasse. “We initially met Chris Mintz-Plasse for Dave, because we were thinking about making Dave (Kick-Ass) a really, really geeky kid. And we thought it would be interesting if Red Mist was the much cooler guy.”
Kick Ass – Hit Girl Red Band Trailer
Dec 22nd

This looks like it will be one of the most memorable, hilarious and maniacally violent, action films of the year. Chloe Moretz, who plays Hit Girl, is one of the only child actors that doesn’t piss me off, she was great in 500 Days Of Summer and she looks great in this, the trailer below cracked me up ‘OK you c*nts, let me see what you can do now’ – she’s only 12! In Kick-Ass, Moretz plays Nicolas Cage’s daughter Mindy (aka Hit Girl), an adolescent assassin armed with lethal skills, a pistol, and a pair of pigtails. In 2010 she’s also starring in the remake of one of my favorite movies of the year – Let The Right One In alongside Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Boy in The Road).
