Olivia Wilde Added To The List Of Frontrunners To Portray Lois Lane In The Upcoming Zack Snyder Superman Movie

According to Latinoreview Olivia Wilde’s name has been thrown into the hat of potential actresses in the running to portray Lois Lane in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman movie opposite Henry Cavill. Other names previously mentioned include Kristen Stewart (Cinemablend have caught wind that she’s not in the running), Malin Akerman, Dianna Agron, Jessica Biel and Rachel McAdams:
”NOW I got word from a close reliable source WHO I CAN NOT MENTION, SO STOP WITH THE “WHO IS YOUR SOURCE” as if I am actually going to tell you and have that person get fired or in trouble.
What I was told today was that Olivia Wilde (TRON: Legacy, Cowboys & Aliens) has tested for Lois Lane in “Superman.” The source knows this because they’ve been hired to work on “KIN” and the dates may be pushed back to accommodate the “Superman” schedule should she get the gig. They also mentioned to me that the Rachel McAdams story is true.”
I’ve never been a fan of the awkward stranger from the planet Krypton, he’s always had too much power and too little personality for my liking. However even I am stoked as a goat to see this flick! I’m a big fan of Zack Snyder, and having Christopher Nolan on board can only help the film. Look out for ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ swooping into cinemas Summer 2012.

With the announcement that Henry Cavill has been cast as Clark Kent/Superman in ‘Superman: Man Of Steel,’ the rumour mill has continued to churn for Zack Snyder’s reboot of the iconic hero. Today it looks like whatsplaying have been lead to believe that Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Malin Akerman (Watchmen), Dianna Agron (Glee), Jessica Biel (The A-Team) and Rachel McAdams (The Notebook) are front runners to portray Lois Lane. They’re also hearing that Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Kristen Bell are in the mix, but from third and fourth-hand sources (someone’s uncles, postman’s, window cleaner).
According to the article Anne Hathaway had been first choice until she signed up for The Dark Knight Rises: Anne Hathaway had been the pick for the feisty reporter from day one but she wasn’t going to be able to do Dark Knight Rises as well – for numerous reasons – as Superman, so was forced to make a decision. I think she made the right one.
If I could pick anyone out of the names mentioned above I’d like to see Rachel McAdams take the role, she’s got beauty, feistiness and that hint of charm Lois Lane requires. Look out for ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ swooping into cinemas Summer 2012. Concrete casting news coming soon!

I’m fully aware this film is not made for me, I’m not a teenager, I’m not emo and I don’t particularly care for tall, pasty, vampires or muscular, (pointlessly) shirtless, where-wolfs. In fact if your a guy the only reason you should be watching this is either one, your in BIG trouble with your girlfriend or two, that your in fact a homosexual, if your straight and single why in the name of Zeus’s beard are you watching this! To be fair, no matter how I feel this series has a MASSIVE audience, so more power to them, it’s obviously connecting with people. (<<<<I don’t actually mean my last sentence, I just wrote it so that I don’t feel the wrath of millions of emo’s around the world)
